YEHOSHUA (JULIO) FARACO
AUGUST 30, 1966- JULY 21, 2026
In Loving Memory of Yehoshua Faraco HaLevi
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Yehoshua (Julio) Faraco, who passed away in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, Brazil, at the age of 59. Yehoshua was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, beloved son, and a proud member of the Tribe of Levi. He was a wonderful singer and musician who used music to help his fellow Jew connect to their faith and heritage. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his strength, his generosity, and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him. His door was always open to help another in need and he always had a word of encouragement for whoever needed to hear.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Faraco; his mother, Nadir Faraco and Siblings; his sons, Isaac Faraco and Matthew Faraco and wife Sydney Faraco; his daughter, Danielle Faraco Tello and husband Daniel Tello Jr.; and his treasured grandchildren, Jonah, 9, Judah, 3, Noa, 2, Levi, 2, Eliana, 5 months and Maya, 3 months. Their lives are forever enriched by his love, guidance, and example.
Though his earthly journey has come to an end, his memory and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those blessed to know him. May the Holy One comfort all who mourn among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
May his memory be for a blessing.
