OBITUARY:
Susan Busbin Hirsch passed away on April 16, 2026.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. Susan is survived by her three children: Emily and her husband Alex, Alison and her husband Scott, and David and his wife Jackie. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, James Walter Busbin Jr. “Buz,” Bettye Lee Finley, and Melodye Hampton.

She was the proud and loving grandmother—affectionately known as “Susu”—to three granddaughters: Lila (age 4), Sloane (age 1), and Molly (9 months), who were the light of her life. Susan loved reading, music, gardening, and her loyal dog, Dory. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her granddaughters, who brought her endless joy.

She will be remembered for her love, warmth, and the care she showed to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her family, who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Atlanta Humane Society or ACLU in Susan's memory.
