OBITUARY

Selwyn Hurwitz, 66, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on November 23, 2024. Selwyn earned a Bachelor’s of Pharmacy degree from University of Witwatersrand, Master’s of Pharmacology from University of Port Elizabeth, and Doctorate of Philosophy in Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics from Harvard University in conjunction with the Dana Farber Institute in Boston. Selwyn’s interests and hobbies included martial arts and history. Selwyn is survived by his wife, Monica Hurwitz, daughters Maia and Yaffa Hurwitz, and sister Edna Lipworth. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces and/or Magen David Adom. The funeral will be held on Monday, November 25th and 3pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
