Roslyn “Ros” Renie Greenberg, 87, of Sandy Springs, Georgia, died peacefully and surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was born in South Africa to Miriam and Jack Hyton, both of blessed memory. While living in South Africa, Ros was an avid tennis player and worked for many years as an office manager at The South African Institute of Steel Construction. She and her husband, Harold, immigrated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 to be with their family. Ros was a Bronze Life Master bridge player. She spent her time visiting the elderly and was a member of Chabad of Cobb where she attended Shabbat services weekly. She was loved and adored by all who met her and was the heart and soul of her family. Ros is predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Harold Greenberg. Ros is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Derrick and Tamara Greenberg of Atlanta, GA; son, Ian Greenberg of Dolan Springs, AZ; son and daughter-in-law, Ari and Dana Greenberg of Marietta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Herzl and Jenny Hyton of Atlanta, GA; and grandchildren: Ilyse (Scott), Sam, Sarah, and Josh. The funeral will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 12:00 PM, graveside, at Crest Lawn Memorial Park with Rabbi Ephraim Silverman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chabad of Cobb or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
