OBITUARY

Roberta “Robbie” Migdon passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the age of 72.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to Philip and Harriet Kramer, Robbie was a graduate of Millersville State College (Millersville University). For over 45 years she was a beloved teacher and substitute teacher in the York City School District (PA) and Cobb County School District (GA). She spent her life ensuring every child in her classroom learned “Law and Order” (also her favorite show) but felt loved and supported and left school every day with positive affirmations.

Married for 50 years to Herbert (Herb) Migdon, they raised their two daughters in Landisville, PA prior to moving to Atlanta, GA in 2013 to be actively engaged and present with their four grandchildren. Robbie and Herb were so fortunate to move into One River Place where they have been embraced by many loving friends.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Harriet Kramer. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Migdon; daughters Jodi Bossak (Kerry) and Beth Blick (Stephen); grandchildren Hayden and Gavin Bossak and Mason and Ryan Blick; sister Audrey Kramer and brother Steven Kramer (Melissa).

The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Northside Hospital ICU for their excellent care of our “Grandmom.”

Graveside service will be held at North Atlanta Memorial Park on Sunday, 8/18/24 at 3:00pm. Shiva will be observed on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at 7:00 pm at One River Place Meeting House.
