Rita Gates Levine

OBITUARY

Rita Gates Levine, age 100, died December 15, 2024, in Woodstock, GA.  She grew up in New York City and was exposed to the arts at an early age.  At 19, she moved with her parents to Atlanta.  She was very involved in the Jewish community where she met Manny.  Rita loved singing in choirs, acting in plays, painting, and reading.  She was involved at The Benson Center in later life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Levine and son, Bennett Levine, of blessed memory.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mary Levine, Woodstock, GA; grandchildren: Ashley, Ryan, Joey and Cheyenne; great-grandchildren: Adelyn, Wesley, Maeve, Sawyer and Sage.
