OBITUARY

Phillip Kleiman was born in New York City on May 19, 1988. His parents, Pauline and Morris, like to joke that Phil was their gift from their honeymoon in Jamaica. Phil came into this world so loved by his family and he left the same way but loved by so many more people.

Phil is survived by his beloved parents, Morris and Pauline Kleiman, his brother Sammy (Sarah) Kleiman and sister Rachel (Daniel) Sokolin, and his beautiful nephew Ezra Kleiman, who will learn about his loving uncle as he grows. Phil is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

His family moved to Atlanta, GA in 1994, where Phil attended the Greenfield Hebrew Academy and then Weber High School. It was at those places, where he made long lasting friendships that carried over into adulthood. Phil was such an excellent student in and out of the classroom. His teachers, brothers, friends, and everyone who knew him adored him. Phil went to college at Tulane University, where he received a generous scholarship and majored in Finance. He had such an amazing group of friends whom he shared many memorable experiences with and made his life well lived.

Phil's ability to comprehend problems, ideas, new technologies, and languages was incredible. Whenever he spoke, he spoke so gracefully and collectively, being able to come up with a witty joke in a matter of seconds. He was always so caring and tending to anyone he came across; nobody was a stranger for long after meeting Phil.

Phil moved back to New York City in 2016, where he worked at Viacom. He was incredibly passionate about his job and ability to connect the world to digital entertainment. Phil was responsible for ensuring that Viacom's digital signage, including the ones in Time Square, was running efficiently with the right content at the right time. Vendors in his space continually sought out Phil for his knowledge on the industry and upcoming trends to consider.

Phil touched so many people and we were lucky to have him for the many years we did. He will be incredibly missed and we will remember how he was our comfort in times of distress. Rest in peace, Phil. We love you very much.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
