Paula Sandra Goldman Pendleton (83) of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on December 31, 2025.
Paula was born on April 2, 1942, in Macon, Georgia, to Ann and Izzy Goldman. She graduated from Miller High School and attended the University of Georgia.
After college, Paula moved to New York City, where she attended fashion school and worked as a department store model for B. Altman. She returned to Atlanta, where she devoted herself to raising her sons, Lance and Brett Nicholas. A deeply loving and involved mother, Paula took great joy in her boys’ school and camp activities and shared with them her lifelong love of nature and animals.
After her sons were raised, Paula began a rewarding career at Emory University Hospital, where she helped establish the concierge services, providing guidance and comfort to patients and visitors alike. It was at Emory where she met her husband, Les. Following their retirement Paula and Les relocated to Blairsville, where she owned and operated a small business and was an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce.
Paula was preceded in death by her son, Lance. She is survived by her husband, Les; son, Brett; and her brother Alan (Hershene) Goldman. All of whom will forever cherish the love, kindness, and joy she brought into their lives.
Paula was a sweet soul—full of warmth, laughter, and boundless enthusiasm. Her beautiful smile and generous spirit brightened the lives of everyone she met, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
