OBITUARY: 
We are saddened to annoice the passing of Norman J. Slovis (z"l) on August 29, 2026, 17 of Elul 5786. 

Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Sylvia Slovis, and his sister, Anita Merlin from Knoxville, TN. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Slovis; sister, Myrna (Irv) Russotto; daughter, Stacey (Rick) Goldstein; son, Adam (Jolie) Slovis; and grandchildren, Noah (Shahar) Goldstein; Sarah (Noah) Hanover; Elliot (Melissa) Slovis; Daniel (Rachel) Slovis. 

Funeral services will be graveside at B'nai Zion Cemetery on Monday, August 31 at 2:00 PM ET, 605 Lullwater Road, Chattanooga, TN 37405. 

Following the funeral, a meal of consolation will be held at B'nai Zion Congregation, 6210 Airpark Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
