OBITUARY

Nita Esther Silverstein, 76, of Sandy Springs, Georgia, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. A beloved member of Atlanta's Jewish community, Nita touched countless lives through her work as a devoted preschool teacher, caretaker, and cherished friend. Her warmth, patience, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on generations of families - both two- and four-legged.

Nita is survived by her sister, Sharon (Martin) Hurwitz; her nieces and nephews Michelle (Jason) Geppert, Amanda (Phil) Laum, Rachel (James) Futch, and Jeremy Hurwitz; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mia and Lucie Geppert, Vivian and Pia Laum, and Charlie Futch.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery.
