Marvin Barry Chesin, age 82, of the Bronx, New York, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Marvin is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lois (Weinstock) Chesin; his daughter, Robyn (Chesin) Davis and her husband, Matthew Davis, along with their children, Maddie (13) and Evan (11); and his son, Adam Chesin and his wife, Jennifer (Woodrow) Chesin, and their son, Jackson (5).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena; his father, Louis; and his brother, Nathan (Nat).

Marvin had a warm spirit and kind heart and truly never met a stranger. He cherished his family above all else and took great pride in being a loving husband, father, and Papa. He was a career salesman known for his honesty and humor. He also had a passion for Atlanta Braves baseball and loved traveling the world alongside his wife.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Family and friends are invited to gather at the family’s home following the service.
