It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and cherished friend, Martin Leonard Youngleson, who peacefully left us on February 16, 2025, at the age of 75.  He was born on August 14,1949 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Martin was a man of deep character, known for his kindness, quiet strength, and wry sense of humor. His love for his family was evident in all aspects of his life, and his legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched.

He was a brilliant psychologist, and through his work made lasting impacts and changed lives for the better. He made a difference, leaving a legacy of hard work, passion, and a profound sense of connection. He lived life fully, sharing his heart with those around him and offering help and encouragement to those in need. He loved the water and found joy as an enthusiastic water aerobics instructor.  His friendships were exceptional, grounded in loyalty, kindness, and a genuine concern for others.

In addition to his beloved wife Barbara, he leaves behind his step daughters Stephanie and Jennifer, his granddaughter Ariella, who is the light of his life, and his son-in-law Brad.  Additionally, he leaves behind his sister Sharon and her husband John, his nephew Craig, whom he loved and respected beyond words, Criag's wife Heidi and their children, Benjamin, Isobel and Sebastien.
