OBITUARY:
Jack Harry Robbins was born to Norman and Anne Robbins on November 28, 1929 in Savannah, GA and passed away June 5, 2026 at the age of 96.
Harry is beloved by and survived by his wife Jean Robbins; they were married just shy of 68 years, his three children Arnold Robbins (Miriam Robbins), Bill Robbins (Tanya Robbins), and Robert Robbins (Scott Bogin), his seven grandchildren: Dasi, Leora, Meira, Chana, Rivka, Nachum, and Malka. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Ghingold, his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Harry was a graduate of Armstrong Junior College School of Business in Savannah, owner of Robbins Stores, Inc. in which he managed multiple stores throughout Georgia, and a real estate agent after he sold his business. He served his country as a marine sergeant during the Korean war. He helped found NCSY in Savannah, Yeshiva High School in Atlanta, and supported Beth Jacob Synagogue and the Jewish community of Toco Hills where he lived with his wife Jean after their marriage in Jacksonville, Florida in 1958.
