SHIVA: Guests are invited to stay and visit with the family at Congregation B'nai Torah immediately following the memorial service on Sunday, June 14. Shiva will be held at the home of Sarah Woelz, starting at 3:00 PM and continuing through the evening on Monday, June 15; Tuesday, June 16; and Wednesday, June 17. 

OBITUARY
Helmut Woelz of Dunwoody, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026. Born in what is now Czechia on October 11, 1936, Helmut is survived by his wife, Sarah, siblings Waldtraud and Reingard, his 7 children, Sabine, Simone, Silke, Keren, Steffen, Christian, and Tomer, as well as a bundle of grandchildren including Noga, Yarden and Lylah, and a bevy of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Erich and Herta, and his dear sister Gerda. The family welcomes all to join us for a memorial service at Temple B’nai Torah this Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 1 o’clock. In lieu of flowers we welcome donations to Sarah’s second home, Congregation B’nai Torah.
