Harry Roth

Harry Roth, born in 1948 in Chicago, IL, passed away at the age of 76 on April 12.  Harry proudly served in the United States Navy and would often cheerfully recount stories of his time assigned to Adak, Alaska.  After completing his service, Harry went on to graduate from Northern Illinois University and launched a 31-year career with the Veterans Affairs hospital system, continuing to care for his fellow vets.  Harry loved fishing, working out, visiting friends and family, and the many rescue dogs for which he provided a loving home.  No day was complete without a trip to the dog park.

Harry is survived by his wife of 51 years Elaine Roth, daughter Alicia Graves (husband, Mike) son Brian Roth (wife, Jessica), and his four deeply loved grandchildren.

Harry was a kind and generous man.  He was always willing to help or share.  His good nature, smile, and stories will be missed.  His memory will be a blessing to us all.
