Early Life, Education, and Achievements

Born on the 19th of January 1931 in New York City. Evelyn was the beloved child of Fannie and Louis Nasberg. She grew up in a nurturing home, filled with art, music, literature and a deep commitment to Jewish values. Evelyn attended continuing adult education classes at Brooklyn College and the New School in New York City studying art, music, and literature.

After a successful career as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager of a NYC Jewish Radio Station, she started up a concert ticket service for seniors working with the box offices at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to provide free unsold tickets to seniors which made a lasting impact on those who would never be able to afford to attend these concerts.
