Eva Fleischer

Eva Fleischer, LCSW

Eva Fleischer, 88, passed peacefully on October 30, 2025.  Eva was born in London, England and immigrated to the United States with her parents at an early age.  She attended the University of Rochester and received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University. She worked as the Director of Social Work in a New York hospital for many years.  Eva was the beloved wife of Dr. Norman Fleischer, of blessed memory, and the devoted mother of Debbie (David) Kurzweil and Lynnie (David) Wax. She was also the adored grandmother of Aaron Wax and Emily and Matthew (Genny) Kurzweil.  In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Fleischer Institute for Diabetes and Metabolism at Einstein College of Medicine.
