Edward Becker

Edward Herschel Becker age 68 of Dunwoody died peacefully on April 14, 2025. He was survived by his wife Melissa and son Benjamin and his sisters Heleen Berry (Arnold) and Jeanne Siegel. He was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Ann Scobel and his mother Ruth Carson Becker and Father Sam Becker. He was loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Ed was born in Atlanta Georgia on April 26, 1956. He worked 33 years at Emory University in Finance. He loved his time spent working with staff and faculty. Ed was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved all other Atlanta sports. He enjoyed traveling with his family and spending time with friends. He was so proud of his son Benjamin who meant the world to him.

His funeral will be held on April 15, 2025 at North Atlanta Cemetery at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
