FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday August 12, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Crest lawn

Dr. James Leslie Gole, 80, Atlanta, died August 9, 2026.  Dr. Gole was Professor Emeritus of Physics and Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech.  He is survived by his wife, Jane Gole and brother, Stan Myers.  Memorial donations may be made to the Lampl-Gole Scholarship Fund at Rice University, Houston, TX or the charity of your choice.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Park with Rabbi Lydia Medwin officiating.
