OBITUARY:
David Beloten, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at the age of 70, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Throughout his life, David had a natural zest for life and discovery. In his younger years, he embraced adventure through travel, developed a lifelong passion for live music and visual arts, and possessed a deep talent and passion for photography, capturing the beauty of the world and moments with the people he loved. He also had a celebrated enthusiasm for fast cars, a passion he seamlessly translated into a successful career in Florida automotive sales, where he was known and respected for his calm, personalized, and honest approach.

A naturally gifted athlete, David excelled at nearly every sport he pursued during his school and college years, with a special love for baseball and golf. Above all, David had an extraordinarily big heart for animals. Over the years, he shared his life and home with his cherished dogs: Casey, Lucy, JJ, Bonnie, Bamboo, Cleo, Fred, and Coco, with each holding a special place in his heart.

David was a devoted son, brother, and a truly wonderful uncle. He found immense joy in creating magical memories for his nieces and nephews, treating them to unforgettable trips to Disney, snorkeling adventures, and cherished moments that lasted a lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leon and Elayne Beloten, and his sister, Marti Beloten Hensley (David Hensley).

He is lovingly remembered and survived by his sister, Donna Beloten Zandany (the late Mordechai Zandany); his nieces and nephews, Rachel Zandany, Hadas Fridman (Ariel), Tsvi Zandany (Izzy), Sean Greener (Michelle), Joseph Allis (Gus), and Sarah Greener (Christy); as well as his dear cousins, Scott Beloten (Anne), Richard Beloten, Robert Beloten (the late Sherry), Andrea Warmund (David), Joyce Rodindella (Nick), and Susan Hills (Ken), along with extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Dunwoody Jewish Cemetery within North Atlanta Memorial Park (5188 Winters Chapel Road, Dunwoody, GA 30360).\

In honoring David’s lifelong love for animals, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the American Humane Society.
