Charles Friedman, 83, of Brunswick and Atlanta GA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his three children on Tuesday August 26, 2025. A serial entrepreneur, Charles was a successful businessman who always led with humility. Most important to him was his family who jumped at every chance to get to be with him. He exuded a consistently strong and positive outlook and dispensed sage advice that his family treasured soaking up. Charles was a person who truly lived what the American Dream should be: he had riches beyond the material as his entire focus was his love and pride of his family. He brought joy to others, making friends everywhere he went.
Charles is predeceased by his parents Eva and Sam Friedman of Brunswick Ga, as well as many dear family members including Julius (“G”) Friedman, his uncle who was his special role model. He is survived by his children Shereen and Robert Jacobs of Marblehead Ma, Brian and Rachel Friedman of Marietta Ga, and Jana Friedman and Alessandro Pugliese of Brooklyn NY. His beloved grandchildren were the light of his life: Salom, Savannah, and Zoe J Berlin, Avi, Emmy, and Isabelle Friedman, Dylann and Jax Pugliese. Brett and Jared Jacobs, Noah and Julia Goldberg. Charles’ bond with his siblings was one to aspire to: Michael and Ilene Friedman and Maxine and Jerry Kaplan. His cousins, with whom he was close his whole life, and his nieces and nephews added to the joy in his life.
