The birth of Sandy Springs as a city has been of utmost importance to her, and she has been an avid supporter of all aspects of its growth.
Billie was quite fortunate to have time to enjoy her passions, which included traveling the world, attending Symphony and Broadway shows, really theatre of all kinds, be it professional or local, she loved it all. Billie was an artist herself early on, and her love of art expressed itself in her collection of modern art, displayed throughout her house, allowing her to feel as though she lived in a museum.
The most important thing to Billie throughout her life was her family. She and Sig had a long and beautiful marriage of 50 years. Billie continued to enjoy a very close relationship with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids, as she helped to shape the wonderful people that they all have become. Also, Billie’s friends have played such an important role in her life, all to say Billie would tell any and everyone that she had the absolute best life of anyone she knew, and she could not have been any more fulfilled.
