OBITUARY:
Bennett Bradly Herzfeld, (born Bennett Herman Herzfeld) son of Max and Lillian Herzfeld, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025 at Foothills Transitional Care and Rehababilitation in Maryville, TN. Mr. Herzfeld was born on July 1, 1939 in Far Rockaway, LI, NY and moved with his family to South Florida at the age of 18 months old.

Mr. Herzfeld suffered for a number of years with Diabetes, Maccular Degeneration, Parkinson’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia and kidney failure that finally took his life.

He was a stockbroker for 55+ years, with his last position at Carter, Terry & Co. in Atlanta, GA. before his retirement.

He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Reba Kreisberg Herzfeld of Loudon, TN, (formerly of Dunwoody, GA); daughter,  Michelle (Sergey) Barskiy, Lilburn, GA; son, Stephen Herzfeld, Cumming, GA.; step daughters: Geri (Andy) Owens of Knoxville, TN; and Jennifer Rosenthal of Sandy Springs, GA.  Grand children: Noah, Ali, and Sam Barskiy, Gilliann Costerisan, Oakley and Luca Owens, and Walker Rosenthal; Brother in-law and sister-in-law; Jana and Michael Kreisberg of Longboat Key, FL. (formerly Sandy Springs, GA.) cousins: Ann Weiss, Bruce Lederman, and Tommy Herzfeld.

Arrangements will be made through Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care in Chamblee, GA.  Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA. 30328 on Wednesday February 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm  Rabbi David Sirull and Rabbi Raina Siroty officiating.

The family will sit Shiva Thursday, February 27th starting at 1:00 pm at Temple Beth El, 3037 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37910
