Arvin Goldberg

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Arlington Memorial Park: 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. 

We will always love and remember Arvin Goldberg. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Arvin loved everything about New York. As a younger man, Arvin excelled in sports especially in football, racketball, softball, and hockey making long-lasting friendships along the way. Arvin met his wife Myra at Brooklyn College, and they recently celebrated their 50-year anniversary. Arvin and Myra moved to Atlanta in the 1970s where they started a family and had two girls, Allison and Wendy. Arvin, always a sharp businessman, strengthened teams and streamlined the industries he led including clothing, gifts, telecommunications, electronics and pharmaceuticals. He loved sharing his knowledge, often volunteering as guest lecturer and a mentor to college students and aspiring businessmen. His strong leadership skills lent well to his passion for coaching his grandsons’ basketball teams at the YMCA and football at Cobb County schools. More than anything, Arvin loved his family. He spent many of his best moments with his wife, daughters and three grandsons, Daniel, Ezra and Asher. Another passion of his was traveling all over the world. Sharing his experiences including recent trips to New York, Montana, Europe and Israel. Arvin was fiercely independent and never did anything other than in his own way. Luckily for all who knew him, Arvin’s own way was kind, strong and focused on his family.
