OBITUARY:

Ann Louise Tourial, 63, a longtime Atlanta resident, passed away on February 1, 2026, after a short and valiant battle with cancer. Annie was born on July 11, 1962, in West Palm Beach, FL, the daughter of George and Gertrude Pesacov. She attended the University of Florida and, after graduating in 1986, made Atlanta her home.

Annie married the love of her life, Danny Tourial, on June 6, 1988. Together they raised two sons and were devoted members of Congregation Or VeShalom.

Deeply committed to her family and community, Annie quickly became an integral part of her husband’s large extended family. She served as PTA president at Riverwood High School and as president of the Atlanta Chapter of the Brandeis University National Women’s Committee, giving generously of her time, leadership, and energy. Though a proud Florida Gator, Annie loyally cheered for the Georgia Bulldogs because she knew how much it mattered to those she loved.

Annie had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cherished. She formed deep and lasting friendships and is fondly remembered by the many friends who were touched by her warmth throughout her life. She lovingly embraced her two daughters-in-law, making it clear from the start that they were her daughters, too. She shared a close bond with her brother, David, whose love and friendship were a source of joy throughout her life.

Annie loved the beach and found her greatest joy lounging with her toes in the sand or sitting poolside with a cocktail nearby.

Annie’s professional life reflected her deep love for people. After working in the wedding industry and merchandise sales, she became part of the original team that opened one of Atlanta’s premier luxury condominium communities. She initially served as head concierge and later as operations director, a role she held for the past 15 years. In these positions, Annie built meaningful relationships with homeowners, building management, staff, and vendors, keeping everything running smoothly with her signature blend of humor, organization, and charm.

Annie is survived by her beloved husband, Danny; her children, Greg Tourial and Lizzie Engel of Alexandria, VA, and Ryan and Natasha Tourial of Union City, NJ; her brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Lori Pesacov of Jupiter, FL; her sister, Beda Warrick of Anchorage, AK; her brothers- and sisters-in-law Sidney and Susan Tourial, Sara Grosswald, and Dave Tourial, all of Atlanta, and Peggy Tourial of Reston, VA. She is also survived by many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Regina Tourial; and her brother-in-law, Morton Grosswald.

The funeral will be held at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA at 1:30pm on February 4, 2026.
