OBITUARY

Dr. Allen Blass, 88, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on February 2, 2026.

Allen “A Beautiful Smile is Always in Style” Blass was an Atlanta native, graduate of Grady High School and Emory University Dental School.

Kind, warm, loving, and willing to give up his time and knowledge to mentor other young people to become dentists, Allen never met a stranger and was a friend to all. An avid gardener, animal lover, and lemon pie maker, Allen adored spending time with his family and many pets.

Allen is predeceased by his mother and father, Saul and Beatrice Blass, his granddaughter, Anna, and his sister-in-law, Lucy Carson. He leaves behind the love of his life, wife of 63 years, Betty Blass; his children Mitchell, Benjamin (Kathleen), and Naomi (Karl). His grandchildren Brittany (Will), David, Andrew, and Joshua; his great-grandson, Oliver; his sister, Charlotte (Allen); his nieces Terri (Rodney) and Sharon (Nathan); his nephew Joe (Katherine); as well as many loving great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
