  • OBITUARY:
    Neilan B. Levy, age 82, of Atlanta died on March 8, 2010. Born in Bristol, VA, Mr. Levy moved with his family to Atlanta in 1933. He was a graduate of Boys High and a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he was an avid Bulldog fan. He worked for Sun Life Insurance, where he became a Million Dollar Salesman and later co-owned Majestic Shoe Service for over 25 years. He was a Shriner, 32 Degree Mason, and was known as a talented painter by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Anita Levy, daughter’s and sons-in-law, Jill and Andy Morton and Robyn and Marshall Mizell, brother-in-law, William Epstein, and grandchildren, Kevin, Jeremy, and Amanda, all of Atlanta. Sign on line guestbook: www.edressler.com. Graveside services will be held, today, March 10, at 1:00 pm at Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi Laurence Rosenthal officiating.     I was a hospice volunteer with Mr. Levy. I grew very fond of him and loved spending time with him. He was sweet, loving, funny, warm. I will miss him and my visits with him. My thoughts are with all of those who loved him.
