OBITUARY: Seraphina Taylor Cohen of Atlanta, died on March 3, 2010 at Altus Hospice in Atlanta. She was 83 years old and a native of Bristol, TN. Ms. Cohen grew up in Huntsville, AL and later married Jack Cohen in 1945. They moved to Atlanta where she became one of the first members of the Atlanta Ballet Company. She was also founder and owner of Choo-Zee, Inc., a jewelry and accessories wholesale firm that was one of the first tenants in the Atlanta Merchandise Mart. A long-time member of Ahavath Achim Synagogue, world traveler and volunteer counselor at SCORE, Ms. Cohen is survived by her brother Irvin Taylor; four children: Hedda Schwartz of Maryland, Harriet Isenberg of Georgia, Annette Pallowick of Florida and Michael Cohen of New York; seven grandchildren: Allison Bass, Amy Selvin, Nikki West, Ryan Isenberg, Lillie Biggs, Erik Pallowick and Geoff Cohen, and six great-grandchildren.
